This tree is one of the finest examples of the species amongst a stand of about 200 trees on private property. About 1.2 ha has been fenced to protect about 15 trees. An attractive weeping specimen being a single occurrence of about 250 trees located in the Piambie area. These trees represent the only occurrence of the species in Victoria.
